NA in lower bound and upper bound of mediation effect

Dear Mike and MASEM users, I am testing the same mediation model with several different datasets. Each dataset contains data on a different candidate mediator and has different number of study matrices with different patterns of missing data. For some of the datasets, tssem1 and tssem2 seem to run perfectly well, openmx status=0, no error or warning messages, and there are ubound and lbound for me to interpret the indirect effect and direct effect. For other datasets, openmx status=0, but I see…See More

"Dear Mike and other users, I am encountering the same problem. I have a smaller sample of 15 studies with a 5-variable matrix (1 binary variable, 4 continuous variables), but all 15 studies contribute data to every cell. Every study matrix is…"

Mei Yi Ng replied to Katherine DiVasto's discussion Addressing large matrices with missing information with MASEM in metaSEM in the group Meta-analytic structural equation modeling
"Dear Mike, Thanks for letting us know that there are no simple or clear guidelines. I guess we just have to make a decision now based on what is practical for extracting data from studies, and then later use a trial-and-error approach to reduce…"
